HYDROGEN

A wonderful fuel source that nobody knows about.

Hydrogen is a fantastic fuel. It is renewable, its only by-product is water, its cheap...

So why aren`t we using it?

It all comes down to the two main parties again. Because when I say hydrogen is "cheap" I mean it. In the long run... In the short term however everything would have to be converted. Or at least everything we wanted to use hydrogen in. And yes, we could use hydrogen in just about everything. Your food could be cooked with hydrogen.Your house could be heated by hydrogen. And best of all... your car could be run by hydrogen.

Imagine it - cities not filled with smog. No worries about what you are doing to the ozone layer? Just cheap clean hydrogen...

So... what do we have to do to get at this wonderful fuel source?

Convert things. Just about everything in fact. The pumps at the garage... your car... the kitchen appliances - because hydrogen could be pumped quite easily down gas pipes instead of gas... but that would mean converting everyone in the country.

You see the problem?

Money. All of this costs rather a lot. And both of the big parties know that if they are the ones who implement it then the cost would see them out of the door at the next election. So neither of them will ever do so.

So does that mean I`m stuck with my own fuel?

`fraid so. At least until the next election. This is where the Small Parties theory comes in. If many small parties vote for what is clearly best for the country... then none of them have to take lone responsibility for it. They can do it as none of them really controls the country, so none of them need to worry about losing that control.

And we have proved that we can cope without for a few days while our cars are converted ver these last few days. It could be done. So when the next election comes, tell them what you really want. Vote Hydrogen!
