DIABETIC RECIPES MEMORIAL PAGE

Please join us in remembering our loved ones that we have lost. They are always in our minds and hearts. They are part of our memories. Ones we will never forget. As long as we have them in our hearts and remember them, they will always be with us.

For winter's rains and ruins are over,
And all the season of snows and sins;
The days dividing lover and lover,
The light that loses, the night that wins;
And time remembered is grief forgotten
And frosts are slain and flowers begotten,
And in green underwood and cover
Blossom by blossom the spring begins.

I have what money can never buy,
The clasp of your hand and the light of your eye.
I am richer than many with all their gold,
For I have the wealth of your heart to hold.

TIME REMEMBERED

When CHERISHED ties are broken, the chain of love
is shattered. Yet, even in pain you are beginning to
realize that your beloved will never vanish as long as
beloved thoughts remain within you. No one can take
away your hurt because no one can take away your
love. Nothing can detract from the happiness you once
shared. Memory is a master painter-lining indelible
images upon your minds canvas with reminiscences
both happy and sad.
As long as you live, so will your loved one. Memories
bring strength and blessings. The beauty of that life
is forever enshrined in your heart, abiding as a lasting
and loving benediction in the unending cycle of time.

This is my mother's favorite passage.

The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want;
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures.
He leadeth me beside the still waters!
He restoreth my sole.
He guideth me in straight paths for His name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil; for Thou art with me.
Thy rod and Thy staff, they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies;
Thou has annointed my head with oil, my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life;
And I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
Psalm 23

Father of shelorn
Robert John Lane
Born February 16, 1916
Died June 27, 1976
There is an appointed time for everything,
and a time for every affair under the heavens.
A time to be born, and a time to die;
a time to plant, and a time to uproot the plant.
A time to weep, and a time to laugh;
a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
A time to keep, and a time to cast away.
Qoheleth (Ecclesiastes) 3:1-3, 4

You can trust God
not to let you be tried beyond your strength,
and with any trial He will give you a way out of it
and the strength to bear it.
Corinthians 11:3

A Sanskrit Proverb

Look to this day, for it is life.
For yesterday is already a dream
and tomorrow is only a vision.
But today well lived makes
every yesterday
a dream of happiness, and
every tomorrow
a vision of hope.
