"LAZLO"

Lazlo is a wonderful boy who really deserves a loving home as he's certainly never had one before. For his entire 3 year life, Lazlo was tied out 24/7 in his previous home and had never set foot indoors before coming here. He was finally dumped at the shelter by his owner because she said he was "getting mean" when strangers approached his tie-out and he wAfter 3 weeks of TLC in the house, he's decided that inside with his people is his new favorite place to be and I am never without my giant hairy shadow. His owner was clearly a complete idiot and didn't have a clue what a cool boy she actually had - Lazlo is extremely intelligent, very loving, very much wants to please, and GORGEOUS - All 96 lbs of him. Lazlo is housebroken, non-destructive, and well mannered in the house. He's fine with other dogs, 20lbs and up. He loves to go for walks of any length, but is not hyper or overly energetic when it's downtime. He loves both men and women, is neither handshy nor fear aggressive, and seems to be fine with kids, though I would recommend older kids only simply because of his size and strength. The Bad: Lazlo is still learning not to chase cars (either while on walks or from inside the car when you're driving him somewhere ). Lazlo has mild separation anxiety - which mainly manifests as him barking from his side of the baby gate - but this is improving every day. Lazlo probably not a good bet for a home with very small dogs and definitely not cats - just a little too interested for my comfort. Lazlo is currently finishing up treatment for a very mild case of heartworms. He will be adopted out fully vetted - DHLP-PV and Rabies vaccines, dewormed, neutered, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $150. Please let me know if you are interested. Lazlo is an awesome dog for the right people, and he would really be best appreciated and flourish most with GSD savvy people who actually value large and intelligent dogs.as a "stupid dog."
