Thank you for your interest in this support group. This group is centered in the Kent County area, but anyone can participate. Membership is free, and there are no mandatory attendance requirements.

Our Mission: SHERD exists to support and interact with parents/guardians, and children, who are homeschooling, or are planning to homeschool, in/around Delaware, without prejudice.

Our Philosophy: We believe that all people deserve to be treated equally, regardless of race, religion, political views, philosophy, family structure, income, age, gender, special needs, and educational choices.

If you would like to offer/receive online support, or just get to know the others in the group, feel free to join our private group. On this group, we don't allow "lurkers". We ask everyone to post an introduction, so that everyone will know you are "safe", and will feel more comfortable sharing personal experiences and/or information.
