A Thing Called Love
By: SheridanCraneFitzgerald@hotmail.com

It's like a burning fire,
Really blazing bright;
Crackling and sizzling,
Reaching out into the night.

A silky pool of water,
Softly touching skin;
Embracing in its waves
Without sign of hesitance.

A warm blanket wrapped around me,
A quilt to calm the cold;
Enfolding me in its arms
And never letting go.

The kiss of the sun
Warm on my back,
Such a tingly sensation
To escape all the bad.

The moonlight on the shore
Of a beautiful beach.
Laying on the sand
With heaven in reach.

What a rare emotion
To be in experience of.
How beautiful it is
To be in love.
