Dungeon
By: SheridanCraneFitzgerald@hotmail.com

Lock me in a dungeon
And take away the key.
Disease me with your innocence,
Let your words deceive.
Leave me in a barren spot,
Stone-cold floor and wall.
Love me with your treacherous ways,
Spite me before all.
Bring me joy and leave me here
To weep and die with the rats.
Bit by bit, tear my flesh
And tell me I won't last.
Lie to me with words of love,
And leave me with your pain.
Make me love, but let me know
I'll never love again.
Lock me in a dungeon
And throw away the key.
Disease me with your charm,
You've already deceived me.
