Martin's Song
By: Ariane (Ariane_Granville@Operamail.com)

Wearily, I close my eyes,
To but drift again --
Into the garden where she waits
To take me by the hand.
Sometimes, she will sing for me
In a voice so high and sweet;
It seems the earth below me trembles
And the skies above me weep.
To her I broke a promise,
But still we never part.
In my dreams we meet and greet and she's locked in my heart.
Always from our Eden
I am forced to go,
Back to the world that part of me
Simply does not know.
And ever do I wander;
And always am I torn,
But when it's time for me to sleep
In her arms I'll be once more.
