Winter
By: SheridanCraneFitzgerald@hotmail.com

Snow is falling softly
On the ground outdoors,
While the fire crackles:
Shadows on the floor.
Dancing, leaping visions,
Lacy touches sweet;
Mouth in tune with kisses:
Heartbeats tend to leap.
Caresses in the wintry night.
The moon is full and round.
Starlight on the navy sky:
Never heard a sound.
Hearts as one, body, mind,
Souls connected two --
One embrace ignites a fire,
The wind: whispering a tune.
Shed exterior, brand inside,
Play me a melody,
As the moon, the wind, the stars,
Create a rhapsody.
Fondest wishes in your kiss,
Your gentle, softest touch.
Darling, you make magic
With the sweetness of your love.
