 First Generation
          1.  John William Albert Siebold (II), son of John William Albert Siebold (I) and Emma Schaffer, was born in Bremen, Hamburg, Germany April 28, 1882.  John died April 1, 1941 in New York City, Manhattan NY, at 58 years of age.  He was listed as 60 years old on his death certificate. He worked as a Superintendent for various apartment buildings in Manhattan and ran  a coal barge in the early years. He had been in America for 44 years according to his death record.  His father, John W., was born in Germany. Emma Schafer, his mother, was born in Germany. The informant was his wife, Signe Siebold, 245 E. 30th. Date of burial: April 4, 1941, at Mt. Hope Cemetery. Henry J. Meyer, funeral director. His body was interred April 4, 1941 in Valhalla NY, Mt. Hope Cemetery. 
          He married Signe Louisa Hanne in New York City Manhattan NY, December 1, 1916.  It says on the Marriage registration that it was the 1st marriage for both parties, although she was listed as Signe Olson.  Grooms parents:  John W. and Emma Schaffer. Brides parents:  Wilhelm and Mathilda Kungsman.  Groom was 35 years old, born at Bremen, Germany. Bride was 25 years old, born at Sunderwall, Sweden. We believe that Signe was married before to _______ Olson, probably in NYC.
          John immigrated from Germany to the USA around 1897.  This date is figured from his death certificate that says he had been in the US for 44 years. Family story goes that he was working on a ship that berthed in NYC docks, and jumped ship. No proof, either way. If so, he was only 15 years old when he came to the United States. At the time of their marriage: he was living at 257 E. 82nd St. NY She was living at 1592 Second Ave.
          Signe was born in Tunaby Skon-Sunderwall Swed April 29, 1891.  Signe was the daughter of  Wilhelm Hanne and Mathilda Kungsman.  Signe died February 12, 1942 in New York City Manhattan NY, at 50 years of age.  Louise Siebold, daughter was the informant on the death certificate. Signe lived with her daughter at 1813 Amsterdam Ave, NYC, Manhattan, NY.  Age: 50 yrs. 9 mo. 13 dys.  Lived in the U.S. for 40 years.  She was in the Mother Cabrini (?) Memorial Hospital for 42 days before her death. She was buried at Mt. Hope Cemetery alongside her husband.

Signe immigrated, August 3, 1906 from Sweden to the United States. She was abt. 15 years old.

Death Certificate:  Frederick died December 25, 1978 in Brooklyn Kings Co. NY, at 60 years of age.  His body was interred December 29, 1978 in Calverton, NY, Calverton Cemetery.  Informant:  Louise Lenz,  NY, sister; Occupation: cook, SS#:  093-10-9075; divorced. Birth:  5/6/1918   Age of last birthday:  60
          He married Mary _______ 1938.
          Frederick Siebold and Mary had the following children:
