We remove all kids and bottle raise them on pasturized milk and heat treated colostrum to practice CAE prevention.  All of our does have been tested negative but we continue to use prevention as a precautionary measure.  Our does are healthy and robust that will do well with out a lot of fuss and extra treatment.  They do nicely on 2nd cut Timothy hay,  clean fresh water, and a specialty grain mix that we purchase in bulk from New England Feeds in Auburn.  Our goats also love the free choice Golden Blend Minerals that they always have available.
