Well if you haven't already guessed, we've quit the biz.  She's Gone is no longer active.  The possibility of re-upping the label later in our lives is great.  We still have records for sale, and most of our awesome bands are still hard at it.  Sara of Fred Savage Fanclub continues playing as a solo artist in Texas, and now California.
Darlington has been on numerous tours this year, and will probably be coming to your hometown soon...so keep your eyes peeled for the show listing.  Saturday Night Kids (miss you!) play often in their home state of Delaware, and continue to write Sonics-tinged Ramonescore.  41 Gorgeous Blocks continue to rip it up in Texas.  Members of The Wontons, Mosier Valley Boys, Kung Fu Monkeys, and Junior Varsity have all moved on to new projects.  It's been a good run.  We adore hearing from you, so drop us a line every now and then.  The same email address still applies: shesgoner@yahoo.com

Big news!  Our next release is going to be a 7" by an old-timey country band from Fort Worth, TX...The Mosier Valley Boys.  These guys can be described as the bastard sons of Hank Williams Sr.  In a word, awesome.  They write songs about drinkin' your broken heart away.  How punk rock is that?   Look for it this spring.

The Kung Fu Monkeys & Junior Varsity split 7" on limited spearmint vinyl will finally be out January 19, 2002!!  It sounds and looks FANTASTIC.  Think deliciously campy bubblegum music unlike anything you've ever heard.  These bands are second to none.  Eventhough I (Jessa) have been extremely lax about updating our website, preorders for this slab'o'wax have been rolling in. Snag your copy while it's still available.  $4 ppd
41 Gorgeous Blocks full-length CD is still available on She's Gone...  This four-piece hails from Grand Prairie, TX & seems to be quite popular among the teen set.  If you're into Green Day or any of the Lookout! Records pop punk, check this out!  $11 ppd
The
Saturday Night Kids, featuring ex-members of Jake & the Stiffs and Explosive Kate, are scheduled to be our next release.  Friggin' (yes friggin) great Ramones-core.  Too hot to handle, too cold to hold, SNK are awesome, so don't eat mold.  Yeah.
We should have a new website & domain that's mac compatible in the near future.  Keep checking back for further details.
Thanks.

The
41 Gorgeous Blocks CD, "It Isn't Supposed To Be This Way" is in!  The entire package for this release is very smooth.  You'll get very well-recorded, clean poppy songs throughout, with Matt Riggle's distinctive vocals soaring above it all.  Fans of post-Green Day pop will love this album.  "It Isn't.." also touts a hefty full-color CD booklet that's to die for.  Darren of Ice Planet Design did a fantastic job creating it for the band.
You can acquire your copy from us for $11 postage paid or directly from the band themselves in person or at shows.  Check out
41gorgeousblocks.com for show information.
