I love dragons & here I used indian ink & water color pencils.
I drew this around the time Jarrasic Park movies came out. It was a portraite of an adorable life like baby JP T-rex toy. Charcoal pastels on construction paper.
I wanted to do a bit of work with using just a pen. I have seen people draw pics of black panthers but I feel they always lack somthing. Either they forget to put in the spots or they make it so dark & pure solid black you just can't make out any of their features
This is a portaite of a desert cat called a caracal. They have very long legs, & large tufs on their ears & a short stubby tail, with stripes & spots all over their bodies.
My older sister Athena was given this toy bunny one year from our parents when she was in collage. you pushed it's tummy & it would say diffrent things. they eyelids were fabric sewn over the eyes but often slid down unevenly creating a disterbed little thing. Her room mates soon after nick-named it the crack rabbit.
I have found myself as this creature in a number of my dreams. One day I ran across another person's drawing of it & in their note said that those who heard this creatures Honks would be blessed by psychic abilities. Kinda freaky.
yeah creative name huh? well this was a commisioned pieces that was given by the buyer to his mom for a Christmas gift.
I wanted to work on a more realistic style of artwork yet still mix up concepts of fantasy with ideas that aren't often played with.
