SHIHAD Although a kiwi band, Shihad had a great year on the Australian music scene, scoring a load of ARIA nominations for their stellar album, The General Electric. Surprisingly released from their reocrd contract when Universal took over Polygram, Shihad were pounced upon by Warners and promptly brought out one of the best albums of the year. During the filming of the clip for the single "Pacifier", Shihad invited the Recovery crew to check out what goes on behind-the-scenes of a video. We found out the lads had to work pretty hard all day and was a reflection of their general work ehtic for their music. "We are going to bring out the biggest rock album ever," singer Jon Toogood said about the Shihad CD for 2001. We believe him!
