To me, albino dobermans are a fault. They are genetically unstable, and should NOT be bred. But there are other sides to the argument too. Some breeders say that they are NOT albinos, because of their light markings and blue eyes, and continue to breed them, saying that they are a RARE color to fool new dobe owners. Some people, not knowing about the AKC fault consideration or the albino gene, adopt and breed these dogs unintentionally. So many white dobe owners are unknowing yearlings into the dobe realm, who did not do their "homework" and study dobermans. As for myself, I am still waiting to aquire a doberman, and am all the while studying them. At first I too was fooled by the white dobermans beauty, but soon enough I learned. Some albino owners however perposelly adopted this dog. And now I say....I would like both sides to the argument.
