Natalie's Seizure Page

August 7, 2003- I'm going to the MAYO clinic on Aug. 28.  Hopefully they will find something out.  Please keep my family and me in your prayers.

August 1, 2003-  I'm still having seizures about everyday.  I've been sleeping a lot and have been sluggish lately.  When I went to the doctor they said that my depecote was a little high so they are bring me down to 750mg a day instead of  1000mg a day.  Today hasn't been that great.  I had one at the pool and I haven't been able to sleep well.  Please keep praying for me and my family. ~Natalie

Doctor stuff from July 29, 2003

July 22, 2003-  I went to the hospital this morning because I had a pretty bad seizure.  They are keeping me on the Kepra which is 500mg 3 times a day and then putting me on Depacot (sp?) on top of that at 500mg once a day.  I'm a little frustrated right now because I thought this whole seizure thing was undercontrol but CLEARLY it is not.  Please keep me and my family in your thoughts and prayers!  Thank you so much!    Natalie

July 20, 2003-This past week was great!!  I got to spend a whole week up at a lake with my boyfriend, his mom, and some friends.  I've had a couple seizures this week.  Some have been ok but some of them have been pretty bad.  I was passed out for 15 mins. in one of my seizures and yesterday I went to the ER up in South Bend to get checked out when I had another seizure. They have no increased my medication to 500mg 3 times a day.  Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers.  I really want to find out what is wrong so I can get on with my life and try to live normally.  Thanks!-  Natalie

July 7, 2003- I had been seizure free for 4 weels and 3 days but last night I had a seizure at off the wall sports.  I passed out twice and the seizure only lasted a couple minutes so it wasn't a big one.  I have to call the doctor today to tell her that I had one and then I will go from there.  Please still keep me and my family in your thoughts and prayers!

June 26, 2003-  Its been three weeks since my last seizure!!!  How exciting is that?!?!  I brought the guestbook back so that people can start leaving me messages again.  I think my site is pretty much off of cruel.com and hopefully people will write appropriate things in there.  :)  Thanks for everyone's thoughts and prayers!!!-  Natalie

Doctor's News as of Thursday June 19, 2003

Update June 15, 2003-  I have been 10 days without a seizure!!  How awesome is that?!!?  I have a doctor's appt. on Thursday at 10 to find out all the test results from the monitoring in the hospital, the spinal tap and the MRI so I will give you and update when I find out all that fun stuff.  Pray that they will find out what the problem is so that I can get back to living my normal life.  Thanks again!  :)
