Two years ago during the birth of our band, you started playing the bass and I started singing. We both knew nothing. I'm proud of you because we've come a long way... and I hate to see you go through this right now, Lob.
When Leslie left you and had her next boyfriend immediately waiting in the wing, well, let's just say it's the most stone cold sense of humor I've seen from life in a long while. Tonight Lob I offer you a song I made last July. These kind of girls... they are fireflies.

Everyone of us is a firefly, actually. We shine not only for ourselves, but also for other people. When you have a special firefly in your life, don't you agree it's a bit difficult to see them shine in the daytime, when there is a lot of light between you and your firefly's light? Naturally, what you'd do is bring your firefly back to the solemnity of darkness. No, the darkness is not only of the devil. In the darkness, your firefly's light is for you and you alone. But will their flame stay the same?
Lob, these girls... theirs won't. They want to stay sunbathing.
And that's what I want you to understand. It's a choice they made. As far as choices go, this is in the running for the quickest-and-easiest-made award. The pain and anger will be there. But it's bound to get you nowhere. Nowhere. I promise. It's not worth losing yourself.
Everything's in bloom outside. I've relished a lot of flowers and landscapes in so short a time. You're in a band. Trust me, it does a lot of wonders.
