Dominican Snapshots August 2002

In the botanical gardens in Santo Domingo.  I went there with a friend the week before I left to enjoy the beauty!!!  We are in the fern house here and it was just hot and beautiful!!!

The meat market on the way into the city.  It is always fun to get a close up look at exactly what you are eating.  I just thought it was so interesting to see this every time I drove into the city that I had to take a picture of it.  They tried to charge me 10 pesos after taking the picture, but my driver and friend said to just ignore them.  Fun adventures!!!

Here is the close up.  Get a look at that fine choice meat!  Anyone want pig head or hooves?
