Prologue

"WOOOOHOOOOOO!" Duo yelled happily, slicing a couple more Leos in half. The enemies' resistance had lasted about ten minutes. The mission had been a rather short one...Rumors had reached Dr. J and the other scientists that OZ had developed a new, powerful computer worm, in a base far from any other civilization. Finding the base had been sheer luck. It was very small. The orders had been simple. Destroy every person on the base and destroy the base. The base hadn't had a chance; they only had a couple dozen people working there.
When the numbers of the enemy had dropped to four, they suddenly called a retreat. Each of them ran a separate direction.
"WHOOOHOOO! AND THE CHASE IS ON!!!!" Duo yelled, thrilled at getting to do some high speed chasing. "Well, if we each go after one, one of us can stay behind and finish destroying the base! Who's not up for a man-hunt?" Duo asked cheerily. Quatre volunteered quietly.
"I think I can handle destroying the base. You go on and...finish the mission." Everyone agreed to this, knowing Quatre wouldn't be too thrilled about chasing down a person to kill them.
"Are ya gonna be ok by yourself, Q?" Duo asked, flashing him a grin.
Quatre smiled. "Hai...I believe I will survive against the nearly insurmountable opposition that an empty building will throw at me." This earned a laugh from the braided bishounen who was, as were the other three chasers, a good ways away in pursuit of his victim.
"Allright, Q. Don't be late getting home, pizza's on me!" Quatre smiled and nodded.
"Of course, Duo. I'll probably even beat you there" he teased.
"You're on! Seeya in a bit!" Duo chirped.
Quatre turned to the building, shaking his head slightly. Duo could certainly be...hyper. He fired off his remaining missiles, watching the base turn to smoking rubble. He grinned, thinking about the quickest route back to the safehouse, so he could indeed beat Duo home as he had taunted he could. Quatre was completely unprepared for the Leo that lunged off the ground, sending his Gundam towards the ground. He tumbled backward, head slamming hard against a wall. The world went black for the pilot of Sandrock.
