Wufei groaned to himself. He had tried for over an hour to pick the lock on Duo's handcuffs, but his piece of wire broke. They were good handcuffs. DAMN good handcuffs. Wufei sighed and used what was left of Duo's white undershirt to try and bind the wounds that he could do something about. He knew Duo was torn up inside, but there was nothing he could do to help that except keep a cool head and try to escape.
Wufei felt a rage so strong it almost made him nauseous as he looked at the smashed side of Duo's face. The bones had indeed been broken, and there was a huge, blackish-purple bruise covering most of the right half of his face. Wufei thought that bruise was one of the worse things he had ever seen, bested only by the other wounds that Duo sported. Duo's breathing was shallow and pained. Wufei gently felt Duo's chest and stomach, and was dismayed to find that Duo bore a couple broken ribs to go along with his cheek, and upon even further examination, he found that the bastard had also shot Duo's legs through the bone. He couldn't believe he hadn't seen it sooner, but the unbound hair and the other blood, coupled with the bad lighting, had managed to obscure these wounds. Wufei swore every form of vengeance he could think of, all of them involving much torture before death.
"That upsets you, doesn't it, Mr. Chang?" Taulis said from the doorway with a grin. Wufei's snarl was more than enough to affirm his comment. Taulis smiled sweetly. "Come with me. I'm putting you in a different cell."
"Why? What the hell is the difference?" Wufei growled.
"Because, the other one is closer to my bedroom and I get lazy at times and don't feel like walking as far." Taulis said sweetly, gesturing with his gun for Wufei to come with him. Wufei followed, growling. He watched Taulis's every action as he closed and locked the door. Wufei sucked in a breath and went for it.
Taulis was VERY surprised when Wufei kicked the gun out of his hand. Wufei ran over and grabbed it. "YOU'RE DONE, YOU SICK BASTARD!" he screamed, and pulled the trigger.
