Realizing that the minimum requirements are met for functionality, ergonomics as well as aesthetics came next. The primary goal for this conversion was to make the setup conform more to the body and look pleasing as well as the increasing of functionality.
As mentioned in the Evolution 1 pages Video is displayed through a Sony XBR 36" Trinitron with Monster Cable Component input from the Multi-A/V output of the PS2. Another Sony V-Series 36" is installed alongside it for i-link battles. A third Sony V-Series Trinitron 27" is deployed for viewing TV. (Other gaming equipment not visible in these images include 2 DreamCasts, 2 PS1s, 1 N64, 1 Saturn, 1 SNES, and 1 Virtual Boy.)

Audio is fueled by a Dolby 9.1 setup powered by 3 amplifiers. Speaker setup: 1 center, 2 main front, 2 tweeter cubes under the TV, 2 side, 2 rear, and one sub.
(Explanation for the 9.1 setup is in the Evolution 1 pages)
Various laser copies were made of the GT3 logo at a copyshop for the banners and license plate as well as for spraypaint masks used later. The plate was made from black foam board. Similar weights made from the foam boards were added to the bottom of the banners with a staple gun to reinforce and hold them in place.

Recaro logo cut from leather vinyl added to front bezel of center wing.
