What is Shipperworld?
A very good question! One that will hopefully be answered on this page!
Shipperworld consists of this website, a mailing list and a fanzine. It is a place for shippers of every male/female pairing to come together and basically do whatever they want. Discuss, project, exchange pictures or just lurk on the mailing list, whatever! Hopefully, though, most of the Shipperworld members will contribute articles and reviews etc. to this site and to the fanzine, as some have already.

Shipperworld is meant to be for fun. A place for shippers to get together away from the threat of those who aren't tolerant of their beliefs. If you're a shipper of any male/female couple on TV, Film or Book, then why not join us? It doesn't matter if the couple you 'ship' for has not been previously mentioned on this page. The more members we have, the more varied our pairings list will be.
On this site and in the fanzine, we hope to offer reviews on all your favourite shippy episodes, articles written by members that somehow link in to the Shipperworld theme, pictures of your favourite pairings as well as - eventually - some multimedia features. On the mailing list, we hope to offer discussions and fanfiction etc. but to do this, we need members who aren't afraid to post and mingle.
The owner/moderator of the Shipperworld mailing list is also the Web Mistress of this site, which is me, Jo or Joey R. Shipperworld is not meant to cause offence to anyone and no copyright infringement is meant. But if you have any problems, you can always contact me and we can talk about them. Any problems with the site or mailing list should go directly to me through this address or either of the shipperworld addresses, this one or this one. Under no circumstances should any other member be contacted with any problems. If you're a member of the mailing list, though, you can find me there 24/7 unless I'm on vacation and then you can either wait or ask the list in general- they may or may not know the answer but either way, it'll get back to me sometime.
I think that just about wraps up the 'What is Shipperworld' section. If you have any questions or can think of any that I haven't answered, e-mail them to us and I'll add the Qs and As on this page.
