The word Yeshua entered into my vocabular about five years ago when I was searching for the purpose of my life. It was a week before the feast of the L-rd called Simcha Torah(Joy in the Torah) it was then I was alone at night looking for a purpose. I went to Harvest Christian Bookstore and ran accross several Hebrew languge CDs and this is where I hear a CD called Yeshua by one Karen Davis. During this time of searching, I met a man from a congregation called Beit Tikvak(House of hope) I was invited to attend the celebration of Torah that next weekend. I visited Beit Tikvah that next week and knew I had come home to . It was beautiful, Torah procession, Hebrew, dancing. Just as discribed in the Bible. At this same time I started listening to prophetic Worship or Messanic Praise and Worship. |
Yeshua Better known as Jesus |
As I continued attending this fellowship, I learned some Hebrew and I learned that MY L-RD AND SAVIOR HAS A HEBREW NAME AND IT IS YESHUA! |
YESHUA MEANS SALVATION! Our L-rd and savior was and will always be JEWISH and we that have been raised as Gentiles need to REPENT FROM OUR REPLACEMENT THEOLOGY When I first came to the knowledge of G-d I was about 5 years old. I went to the front of the church and was baptized in water and received Jesus into my heart. Since than I have had things put in my heart to pray for or desire. I was between 7years old and 12 when my mother was reading to us children at home and I would often aks G-d to give me a heart like Meleck David (King David). I also would have thoughts about how when the L-rd G-d was bringing the Children of Israel out of bondage that this was referrering to me. The Lord has a way of getting his peoples attention even if they are hard of hearing, or as the Lord made the king of Eygpt hear his voice he made me hear it as well even in my youth! |
More to come on Jewish Roots of our faith. |
