Man, the internet is the perfect place for all us who are totally self-absorbed to find our forum, huh?

I am setting up this site with the hopes of eventually getting my photos from Japan uploaded so that my family and friends have some access to them.
Warning! I will probably rant a little, and subject you to my various droppings of dimestore philosophy. I will try to keep it amusing. Read at your own risk.

Additionally, I am gonna link to some fun sites I hope that you will enjoy. First and foremost, though, I am using this as a way to get in touch with people. (This means, basically, that if you have stumbled in here from another place on the web, then you can`t be mad if you don`t like what you see or read. Get over it.) For those people: My family and I are living in Japan. We are Americans at work on the JET Programme, through the Consulate General of Japan, teaching English in Japanese schools. My daughter Jessica is ten, blonde, and a high-functioning autistic wonder. I welcome any and all correspondence about the world of autism, what we have done to make things manageable and fun, and I will gladly share our story with other parents and family members of autistics out there. Jessica is a success story, but that will come on another page.

Welcome to the site, feel free to make yourself at home. There`s milk and soda in the fridge, and I think maybe some BBQ sauce also. Just keep your shoes off the furniture. Thanks.
