| Bryn was getting sick of drumming for the Reverends. Tom Grant's angst teen punk band Sally's Dream were dying leaving him and guitarist Ralph no band. Andrew wanted to drum with someone other than himself. The four came together and formed Shocked Elevator Family with one intention: to Rock. They spent their days rehearsing in Andrew's bedroom, playing epic jammed out versions of Bryn and Tom's songs until eventually they were ready to take to the stage. Things weren't as smooth as they appeared though. The band would constantly argue and in the end something had to go. So out went Tom and in came David to play bass. Between playing Risk and Perfect Dark SEF would hone their craft and have since been jazzing around Birmingham and commiting songs to a borrowed super sweet 8-track. And that's the story so far. |
