lb sliced liver (chicken, beef, or turkey), including juices

eggs

tsp garlic powder or 2 cloves peeled garlic

or 2 tsp water

cups oatmeal (1 minute okay)

Preheat
oven to 250 degrees

Blend
liver (with juices) and eggs in electric blender or food processor
for 2 minutes, until mixture is a thick liquid.

Pour
into large bowl.

Discard
any veins or muscles that stick to blades

Add
oatmeal, one cup at a time, stirring well. By the third cup the
mixture will be stiff.

Use
spatula to spread on a non-stick cookie sheet or one that has been
sprayed with cooking spray, and make sure the dough is level.

Bake
for 1 hour. (You may want to open windows or put on exhaust fan if
you don't like the aroma of liver being cooked)

Remove
from oven and immediately cut into quarters, then remove from cookie
sheet while hot.

Allow
to cool, cut into strips, and freeze in small packages suitable for
thawing at training time.
