I don't believe in God because He is a figure of some ancient dead people's imagination. The Bible is meant to keep people controlled and in line. The church used to rule the land, not the government. Now it is the government that rules and many people strive for the separation of church and state. I don't believe in God because there is no God. There is no higher power. God is a projection of man. God is falsified and its only purpose nowadays is to comfort and/or condemn people. The Bible is a supposed means for support of God. The Bible is a book and no one can tell me that binding and ink make the figment of someone's imagination true. Granted, God-based religion is influentially good for a great number of people. However, it is not for me. No one can convince me otherwise. Now I will listen to any argument but no one has sufficiently refuted me. I prefer the strength of will. I do not pretend to have someone behind me the whole step of the way. I experience life through no film labeled "God." I don't need it. I prefer to suffer and feel alone rather than look up to an imaginary male, god figure for guidance. No thank you. |
