| This year we would like to have a SHOOTING STARS SERVICE UNIT MASCOT. Most Girl Scout Mascots travel around the country. We believe this mascot may want to travel the USA in the future but, this year she would like to "Get to Know" the Girl Scouts of Shooting Stars Service unit!!! Won't you take her home to your girls and show her the fun, the excitement, and the ready-made friendships that Girl Scouts can provide? Our SU Mascot wants to have fun with your Girl Scouts! She wants to experience everything they experience...Going on a field trip? Sleepover? Flag Ceremony? Bring your mascot and make sure the troop writes about it in her journal To start, our mascot will need: A "Story" A "Name" To Be "Invested" into GS Lots of Friends Our Mascot will come complete with: A Uniform A Travel Bag for Accessories A Photo/Journal Album to document her experiences this year Please feel free to add pictures, writings, a SWAP, and memorabilia to her album to document the fun she has had with your scouts. (Don't forget to write your Troop #) |

| How does this work you ask? Exchanges of our Mascot is EXPECTED monthly at our SU Meeting to help guarantee every troop will get a chance if they wish to meet "Her". Your Girls should complete their portion of her Photo/Journal Album prior to returning her so the next troop can see what she has done, where she has been, and what she has "earned". *Note* ~ Our Mascot has not been born yet so we can't tell you any info about her yet.
