New spoilers in RED |
[Season Seven Stuff] Season seven is rumoured to be the last of the original Buffy the Vampire Slayer series however there is high hopes for several movies to follow the abrupt ending in season seven. There is not much information about season seven circulating at the moment, but I will give you what I have, which is a Spike's Slaves exclusive... You heard it hear first people, but remember, most of this stuff is yet to be confirmed even though my new spoiler guy is the most reliable i have had to date. [The New Guy] Spike returns to Sunnydale a new man... The opperative word here being MAN. He took the monster or man test and it seems that he was more man than demon. Oops, the chips still there but now he has a soul too. His reaction to this is difficult to say, but from what I have gathered, he returns to Sunnydale shaken and racked with guilt curtosy of his new soul. The reason he took the test is mean to be exposed later in the season, and the main part of it was that he wanted to love and be loved in return, real love not what a vampire was capable of showing and understanding. It seems that dispite his behaviour toward Buffy in season six, his intentions were good, he did love you, he was just incapable of showing it. Look out for some sad and funny moments as Spike comes to terms with his new found humanity. Further talk has confirmend that Spike will get his chip out due to a malfunction which leaves him in nearly constant pain from the implant. Buffy makes a choice to keep him around and in her corner and approaches the initiative to have the chip removed. Although Spike has his soul back - he is no Angel and he will not become like the brooding watcher of LA. Joss has stated that Spike and Angel were very different characters at the start of Buffy and that they will remain to different as long as they continue to appear in the shows. [Which Witch is Which?] Willow coming to terms with Tara's death is a process, a long one that is very difficult for her, and she recieves help from an unlikely place. Both her and Spike comfort (I don't know EXACTLY what that means, I assume that its in friendship terms, but I honestly cant say) eachother as the cover unfamiliare territory in their lives. [The end is neigh...] The show has to end, I have hear some colourful stories about the end of the show, but nothing has been confirmed yet. From Joss (the man himself speaks on the issue) Preparing for the End [Buffy the Vampire Slayer Magazine; Issue 40] addressing increasing press speculation regarding the future of Buffy, Joss Whedon has admitted that he's been planning ahead. "I have written the last scene for the season," he told reporters. "I have a story I want to tell about Buffy and her friends or loves or whoever. Every year is the last year; that's as far as we know. I don't think people are going to jump off buildings, but if it does turn out to be the last year, it will be sad", Joss revealed. "However long it goes, we have to keep it fresh. The Show is about growing up, and that process never stops." he told TV guide online, "I really do feel like it could go on forever." But is Sarah Michelle Gellar [Buffy Summers] decides to up stakes, as suggested last issue, does that automatically mean that the show will end - or is Dawn set to become the new star of the show? "That have been given thought," Joss told E Online. "Every variation of everything has been given thought. What's going to happen is so unknown to me. It's kind of exciting. Anything could happen! [Getting Back the Faith!] Rouge slayer and current inmate at an L.A ladies prison Faith [Eliza Dushku] has been 100% confirmed to reprise her role in both Buffy the Vampire Slayer and in Angel this year. First rumoured to appear in the city of angels, then moving on home to Sunnydale for the final five episodes of season 7 of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Details of her role are sketchy, however, it has been confirmed that her appearence will have something to do with the First Evil, it has also not been ruled out that our Faith will meet an untimely end, trying to right the wrongs in the slayer line and in her own shadowy past. [The Dawn of a new Hope?] It has been confirmed that Dawn [Michelle Trachtenberg] will be identified as a Slayer in Training - a Potential Slayer. Which make sense given her origins. However it is not clear whether the identification holds true. All that has been revealed is that she is revealed potentially as a potential slayer - work out that logic. [Who has the power?] Willow does - but she is still shaky when it comes to using said power. Her state of mind will go up and down thought out the season, knowing what she has to do, but being haunted by what she is capable of if she loses control. Her mental state will be bolsted by a new love interest mid season, the Slayer in Training Kennedy. However, even with the arival of a new partner, memories and feelings for Tara remain strong and apart of her being. |
