| Black-tailed Rattlesnakes are chiefly found in mountainous areas with plenty of rock outcrops or rockslides. Some populations have very attractive green or olive coloring while most that I have seen are cream or gray colored. The snake on this page was photographed at night in Big Bend National Park in Texas. | |||||||||||||
