Grand Canyon Hike South Kaibab Trail & Bright Angel Trail |

The sun is rising and breaking through the clouds during the first hour of my hike down the South Kaibab Trail. I actually started down the trail before the sun came up. It was very cloudy and cold in the early morning hours. The temperature was about 45 degrees. |

About an hour later most of the clouds had burned away. The trail starts to switchback down the steep rock layer known as the Redwall. |
