Biography: Narrative

Darrell Plummer, Jr. is a strange guy with a strange history. Born in Ft. Smith, Arkansas, on June 13, 1979, he is a lifelong resident of Poteau, Oklahoma. In first grade, he became a member of the Gifted and Talented program and remained a member through high school. He finished second in a statewide math contest while he was in sixth grade and won a regional MathCounts competition in seventh. He was a member of the Academic Bowl team in both middle and high school, twice going with his team to state. He also placed in two math contests his senior year, one at Oklahoma State University and one at the University of Oklahoma. He scored the maximum 5 on his AP Calculus test. He scored 34 on the ACT. He graduated in the top 10% of his class at Poteau High School and originally went to college at Oklahoma Baptist University. In the fall of 1999 he was recognized in the President's Honor Roll at OBU, an honor reserved for those who have a GPA of 3.5 or better. He found life at OBU to be too strenuous, so, after taking a semester off, he started attending Carl Albert State College in the fall of 2000, graduating in the fall of 2001 with an associate’s degree in accounting. He started attending Northeastern State University in the spring of 2002. He graduated Summa Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in accounting in the fall of 2003. Since graduation, he has been actively looking for steady employment in the accounting field. He has recently cultivated an active interest in stage theater. He has been in several stage productions, including The Best Christmas Pageant Ever ; 30 Years of Good Times, performing scenes from Barefoot in the Park and Our Town in the latter; and Hello, Dolly! In October 2005, he made his musical debut in Hello, Dolly! and, contrary to reports, did not cause trouble with his singing (backstage antics were a different story, however). He was also involved backstage with a production of C.S. Lewis's The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe; contrary to public belief, he was not a stage mom, just an overbearing pain in the neck! He appeared in Annie in July 2006; credit the director's remarkable foresight for the lack of "singing" from Darrell. He is single and lives just outside Poteau.

(Note: Narrative is incomplete. For the full version, send $1701 to Dartman Enterprises, L.L.C. On second thought, don't; that company doesn't exist! In fact, there isn't a complete narrative available!)
