THINGS YOU NEVER KNEW ~ Written on 15 March 2002

Trivia

1. Belle from Beauty and the Beast and the magic carpet from Aladdin can be seen when Quasimodo was singing "Out There".

2. Pumbaa can be seen with an apple in his mouth during the Carnival of Fools.

3. The three gargoyles were named as Victor, Hugo and Laverne. Victor Hugo was the author of the original novel the movie was based on.

1      Remember Quasimodo's model village? The surface of that particular table changes from wood to cloth to miniature cobbles continually.

2      The number of grapes and their position on Quasimodo's plate change from scene to scene.

3      Interestingly, Quasimodo could swing down from the top of the bell tower to the ground on a rope that was previously only about 4 metres long while the tower was definitely higher than that!

4      When Esmeralda first appeared, there were gold coins sewed onto her sash. However, when she was inside Notre Dame and singing the song "God help the outcasts", the coins have disappeared.

5      During the fight scene, Quasimodo and the gargoyles pour melted lead from the top of the church. However, no sight of it was seen after that scene.
