- Invited to re-join this company with more responsibilities and at a higher designation.
- Selected for a critical project in partnership with TCS. It marked the beginning of a new business model for Tata Interactive. The client, Applied Materials, USA, was delighted with the quality and based on my proposals to their RFPs, AMAT subsequently awarded two more projects worth almost USD 1m.
- Of 30 odd proposals designed by me, almost 25 have successfully materialized into projects amalgamating to almost USD 25m for the company.

     Princeton University - I graded 600 S.A.T essays here

Responsibilities:
- Design curriculum template for WBT and ILT course authors.
- Instructional designer for courses like Software Engineering, Data Structures and Algorithms etc
- Develop courses like Quality (Tata Business Excellence Model), Advanced MS Office etc
-Evaluate existing Learning Mangament Systems and design an LMS for internal use.
- Taught Post-Graduate diploma course on 'IT in Continuing Education' for University of Mumbai.
- Webmaster for Training site on the Intranet.
- Manage ILT activities like TNA, design and implement training.

Organization: Media Transasia (I) Ltd (PC World, Computer World, Information Communications World.) Mumbai, India.
Duration: October 2000 - March 2001.
Designation: Assistant Editor -West.
Responsibilities:
- I was in charge of editorial, financial, bureau administration and management for the western region of India.
- Responsible for cultivating editorial inputs and revenue from smaller pockets like Pune, Ahmedabad, Goa, Vadodara etc.
- I was part of the re-vamp team for PC World and Computer World for refining editorial focus, improving readability, choosing a new international tabloid format for CW etc.
- I was part of the senior management decision-making body for streamlining bureau - H.O. communication processes, fine-tuning packing dates etc.
- I decided editorial strategy for the 3 IT magazines with respective editors.

Reason of Leaving: IT Division of the company closed down due to lack of funds, all magazines folded up and everyone from peon to president were asked to find alternative employment.

- I was involved in key projects for clients like:

- I was the lead ID for in-house vortals like www.driveindia.com, www.elephantgod.com etc.
- I was a part of a select team for improving internal systems and processes of the ID function in particular and the G, C, T, PM functions in general.

Organization: Magna Publications (Stardust, Society, Savvy, Health & Nutrition, Society Interiors, Society Fashion, Savvy CookBook.) Mumbai, India.

Duration: June 1995 - March 2000.
Designation: Assistant Editor.
Responsibilities:
- I worked closely with the Editorial Director and the group Chairman to formulate key editorial strategies for magazines like Stardust etc.
- I was a part of the senior management team for deciding editorial strategy, establishing internal processes etc.

ADDITIONAL PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES:
1.Wrote a textbook on DOS and WordStar for Classes IX and X of the West Bengal board - Madhyamik in 1994.

2. Founder-editor of 'MicroPulse', the newsletter of the Calcutta Chapter of The Microcomputer Users' Club (MUC) - this is amongst the largest non-profit computer organisations in the country.

3. Invited by NCST (National Center of Software Technology) to referee papers for an international conference on eLearning held in December 2002.

2. I've received a diploma in Voice Modulation from WEBEL, West Bengal.
