Alumni Updates
Dan Carp ('00) and Courtney Hamill ('02) announced their engagement to the Penn Singers 10 minutes after it happened on April 21, 2003.

Miranda Knowles ('99) is a first year graduate student at the Steinhardt School of Education at NYU.  She works part time as a web designer and was recently accepted into the Blue Hil Troupe, a NYC G&S group.

Yael (Levi) Alali ('00) lives in Israel with her new husband and does electrical engineering for an analog chip design company.

Harriet (Ravdin) O'Brien ('89) and Brendan O'Brien ('87) live outside of Philadelphia with their two children.  Brendan continues to perform G&S, having recently gone to England to perform "Thespis" with Monty's G&S players, where he was given the award for best supporting actor.

Cary Leahey ('78) is a senior economist at Deutsche Bank working in global markets and following the US economy.

Melanie Leibner ('01) is attending the Boston Conservatory in the Masters of Music in Musical Theatre Program.

Nicole Kurzer ('00) lives in Los Angeles with her finance Hans.  She is currently pursuing a Ph.D in clinical psychology at UCLA.

Lisa Dillman ('01) is the assistant director of a day care center in Philadelphia. She also works for the Delaware Valley Worthy Wage Campaign.

Cecelia Beyer ('97)
married Gabriel Rosenberg on August 11, 2002 in Cherry Hill, NJ.  Her two maids of honor were also Penn Singers, Deborah Sager ('99) and Andrea Jacobs.  The wedding program included a huge number of G&S related quotes.

Jeff Hammond ('91) is currently performing with the Savoyard Light Opera Company.

Brendan O'Brien ('87) and Edwin Nealley ('88) performed together in H. M. S. Pinafore with Thespis, Etc. in Media, PA in February 2003.  Brendan played Ralph Rickshaw and Ed played Captain Corcoran.  Ed also played the Lord Chancellor in Iolanthe with the Ardensingers in Arden, DE in April 2003.
