---an archaeological expedition in Sicily, Italy takes place in the Valley of Temples. there, a female scientist becomes obsessed with a section of ruins, where she investigates and finds the crucified remains of five nuns. from there she begins to have horrible nightmares linking her to the nuns, and horrible murders begin to happen, done by apparitions (one being a headless nude body?!?). this movie makes no sense, is rather long and boring in parts, and jumps around alot. and the ending - oh god! - what is up with the ending? it makes absolutely no sense at all! actually, neither does the lasy ten minutes......the film's saving grace, for me, is when a woman is killed by her house full of cats!! THEY TEAR OUT HER EYEBALLS!! hey, they don't call Fulci the "King of the Eyeball Gag" for nuthin'!
