Rei appears in episode 10 of the first series. She lives in a Shinto shrine with her grandfather (and later, the bumbling apprentince, Yuichiro) she works as a priestess at the shrine. She has psycic powers and can see premenitions and do all the cool things priestesses do. She constantly argues with Usagi because Rei's hardworking attitude clashes with Usagi's easygoing nature, but deep down they are the best of friends and really understand each other.    Rei used to have a crush on Tuxedo Mask and go out with Mamoru (but that didn't last long) she is an "expert" at love advice.    Rei has big dreams of being famous through songwriting, acting, singing etc. and has just the right amount of determination to get there.
