Trivia Question Week 6 - Eric Clapton played in a series of ground-breaking rock bands during the sixties, including the Yardbirds, John Mayall's Bluesbreakers, Cream, Blind Faith, and Derek and the Dominoes. He was firmly established as a guitar legend before finally launching a solo career in 1974, but he was never in the Animals. REUNION Location: Sheraton Sand Key Resort - 1160 Gulf Blvd. Clearwater Beach, FL Time: 7:00 p.m. to midnight  on Saturday, October 19, 2002 Dress is casual. Heavy hors d'oeuvres will be served and there will be a cash bar. The band The Blind Mice will play '60s music beginning at 9:00 p.m. Cost: $45.00 per person. Location: Fort Desoto Park - shelter number 8 Time: 10:00 a.m until 4:00 p.m (...or so) Sunday October 20, 2002 Food and beverages will be provided. Cost: $5.00 per person or $10.00 per family Internet information on Fort DeSoto Park is available through the Friends of Fort DeSoto or Pinellas County Parks.  Alcoholic beverages ar prohibited at Pinellas County parks. The Sheraton has reserved a limited number of rooms at a special group rate of $135 per night - single or double. To get this rate, you must mention Seminole High School '60s Reunion and make your reservation before September 18, 2002. Individuals requesting rooms after the cut-off date will be quoted a rate of $155/night. You can reserve your room via the Sheraton Sand Key Resort website: www.sheratonsandkey.com.  Make your reservation under meeting and group reservations. Other opportunities to visit old friends: Friday night (October 18, 2002): informal get together in the lounge - get a head start on reacquainting.  Are your ready for some football? There is a home game Friday night against Osceola. Saturday morning: Sorry, we were not able to arrange a tour because of insurance and security reasons.  If you don't live in the area and haven't seen SHS in a while, take a drive by and see the changes. Saturday afternoon: meet at the beach or around the pool, maybe join in a game of volleyball.
