Although I have heard a great deal of things about Malcolm X before, it was the first time that I saw him actually speaking. It was really impressive. He looked nice, first of all (somebody said that he resembled Will Smith :) ), and the words he spoke seemed convincing and pursuasive.
Different from Obama, who speaks in White American accent, Malcolm X spoke in complete African-American accent which I am not familiar with. Yet, that never felt awkward to me. Actually, I could appreciate his charsima.
Also, the activities Malcolm X spreaded were intriguing. Especaily, seeking for an alternative religion which will substitute corrupt White Christianity was interesting. I am not familiar with Islamic religion, and I don't know much about it, but the word Islam reminds me people of middle east. Thus, the African-American preaching for Islam seemed interesting.
