My Child Was Special
For a long time Lord, My life then
was in gloom,
you’ve
been beckoning on me. devoid of any light.
To work in your vineyard, My
jewel, my treasure,
be with
you all the way.
she was gone, she was gone!
For so many times, Then in the midst of darkness,
I ignored your call. a flicker of light glimmered.
I was always so busy, The flicker turned to brightness,
a lot of
work to toil. from there I saw her face.
Finally I reckoned, Behold,
the heaven’s door opened,
I then had the time. a beautiful sight revealed.
Quite late to heed your call, My
jewel, in her usual mirth,
but you
didn’t mind.
was singing with angels!
Then my life began to bloom, Then came Jesus in all
splendor,
I then saw the difference. he
beckoned on my child.
A new spring time had come, Gleefully
she ran to Him,
I was all laughter, I could
sing! to
the open arms of my savior.
But the joy was short-lived, Dear God, I’m so
sorry,
when
disaster struck. for ever doubting you.
You took her away from me, I know my child was
special,
for what
reason, I couldn’t see.
that’s why she’s now with you.
Why God, has this to happen, Thank you for your
comfort,
what
terrible sin have I done?
through the people around me.
I was quite late in your vineyard, Their
hearts full of compassion,
but I thought
you didn’t mind. filled with your love for me.
