The cool wet sea mist caresses my skin with it's
tingling touch
As I stroll along a seemingly endless shore line
The waves rush over my bare feet as I walk in the soft, wet sand
The sun shines bright in a clear blue sky overhead and wraps my body in a blanket of calming warmth
Some seagulls soar overhead calling out to the great
blue sea that answers back with the ever
constant lapping of waves
I can't help but obey
The waves lap over my smooth, gentle skin as I walk
out, waist deep, into the warm, shallow waters
I frolick and play in the warm, shallow waters of the
great sea
After playing tag with the waves, I soon tire
I walk, slowly out of the waters that seem to call to me to come back in
I tell them I must go for it won't be long until sunset
Just then, almost as giving me a gift to remember it by,
A beautiful, small, spotted shell washes ashore at my
bare sand-covered feet
I thank the sea for it's marvelous gift and wave
goodbye as I walk back on the deck to my room
Every year I go back to visit my dear friend and every
year I must soon depart
But for now and ever the sea will always be kept in my heart
