Why Don't You
God gave you a mouth,
So why don't you speak?
God gave you two ears,
So why don't you listen?
God gave you two eyes,
So why don't you look.

Can it be because we do not wish to speak for others when they need us because we are afraid of the consequences?
Can it be we do not hear because we do not want to hear the cries of pain, anguish, hatred, and lust?
Can it be because we do not want to see all the violence, betrayal, and greed?

How can you expect someone to speak for you when you refuse to speak for them?
How can you expect someone to hear and stop your pain if you refuse to hear and stop theirs?
How can you expect someone to see the good in you when you can not point out the good in them?

God gave you a mouth,
So why don't you speak?
God gave you two ears,
So why don't you listen?
God gave you two eyes,
So why don't you look?

Some of the people who have had several wrong put against them in history:
*Women
*African Americans
*Native Americans
*Chinesse immagrants
*Jews
...and many, many more.
...But the sad part is that we still have not learned from history. We always dream for equality but if we do not physically do something to improve things we will never have equality. We all tend to focus on African Americans but what about the thousands of other peoples that have been wronged. Never give up the dream for equality just do something, small or big, to contribute to this dream. Your children will benefit from it. Thank you.
