I recognise the fact that Doctor Beverly Crusher and all other Star Trek characters and names and ships and technology, and anything else you can possibly think of, are property of Paramount Pictures (or whoever now owns the rights). I mean no harm or copyright breach in worshipping Star Trek or Beverly because they are wonderful, or in writing romantic fanfiction about Beverly and Jean-Luc because the damn producers wouldn't let them be together on-screen. You get the picture, they're all yours Paramount - I just like to play with them!
