Vespa Verses - By Larry Click

When traveling, I do declare, There are many ways to get you there. Ride a bike or drive a car Fly a plane if it's too far. For cruising you might take a ship Or swimming you might take a dip A pogo stick can bounce your brain A unicycle is insane! But for simple ease and fun And for open breezy sun I'd get a Vespa for yourself Or ask your favorite Christmas elf. No shifting you just twist the grip No clutch to pop or gears to slip You sit like in an easy chair But you might end up with helmet-hair. Folks used to laugh when they would see us, But with mileage almost twice the Prius. It's scooters who are laughing now The Mileage Kings, we take a bow. So join me as a "less polluter", And go and get yourself a scooter. You surely will commute in style With lots of bugs stuck in your smile!
