Maybe you have never heard of "Lily Dale" or "The Alden Farm" or "City of Light"; even so, "The Dale" nestled right next to the lake near Cassadaga in the heart of Chautauqua County first opened in 1879 and now is world famous. Among the notables to visit "The Dale" are Mahatma Gandhi, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Mae West, Franklin & Eleanor Roosevelt, Leo Tolstoy's daughter Russian Countess Alexandra Tolstoy and Susan B. Anthony.

Lily Dale is small enough for most people to walk anywhere. Auditorium, Cafeteria and Assembly Hall are near the center.
From the main gate turn right; then, go straight for two blocks. The path on right into the woods leads to Inspiration Stump.
Turn left, ahead at the end of this street is the Forest Temple. Along the way, on your right you will find the Healing Temple.
