TEST TRACK IS A HIGHLY ANTICIPATED RIDE COMING TO EPCOT CENTER AT WALT DISNEY WORLD, FLORIDA. Test Track is a new effort to provide an exciting adventure. A cooperation between Disney Imagineers and sponsor General Motors, Test Track will be the longest and fastest Disney ride ever. Figuring the length of the ride Splash Mountain, this will be one long adventure. The cars that run on the track are 29 real GM cars, with 350 hp engines, computers, and real tires in each car. Unforutnately, Test Track has been marred by delays. Originally scheduled to open in Spring of 1997, it is now expected to open in Late 1998. If you do visit EPCOT , you'll probably see cars going around the track.
