If your sound card does not have WaveTable feature use WinGroove and compare quality. Highly recommended to play MIDI files with WinGroove by Hiroki Nakayama. This program increasing sound quality for old sound cards such as Sound Blaster 16.
I tryed another softwares such as NovaStation which is 6MB length ZIP
file, although it was a Win95 program and uses 600+ instruments but quality is the worst
with Sound Blaster 16. It also plays MIDIs with wrong instruments.
