VS-Console for Macintosh

VS-Console, VS-Console-EX, and VS-Console-16 are programs for remotely-controlling the Roland VS-880, VS-880-EX, and VS-1680 hard disk recorders from any Macintosh computer with a colour monitor, a MIDI interface and OMS installed. They provide access to all mixer and effects parameters, along with the system parameters associated with MIDI synchronisation. The track levels can also be displayed in real-time. Effect patches can be saved and loaded from files, using a file format which is interchangeable with the program VS-Copy for the PC. In addition, the latest versions have added options of active controls (new values are sent continuously while a control is being adjusted) and speech feedback and keyboard-only control.

Sorry, no PC version either now or in the forseeable future

Instructions for using VS-Console ( download ) <- updated for latest version

Users of VS-Console-EX and VS-Console-16 should also read these instructions since the general functionality is identical and differences should generally be obvious.
