If you have problems posting

If your newsreader allows you to do a "Cc" by email of the post (most do) then the best way is to "Cc" clax86@oocities.com on all your posts to comp.lang.asm.x86 The Cc will generally arrive here first and I will post it to the group (subject to the group's charter). If the other copy gets here as well, I will (usually) avoid posting a duplicate.

If your news host does not know that comp.lang.asm.x86 is moderated, you will see two copies. The first will have limited distribution; The second will have full distribution.

An alternative is to post directly to clax86@oocities.com with a mail program rather than a news program. I will support this method but I would prefer if you use the Cc method. Most email programs won't add references header lines, so if you post a follow-up by the email method then your post won't be seen in the correct thread by threaded newsreaders.

Policy discussions

Please EMAIL any requests for changes in the clax moderation policies to John S. Fine

I have received very few policy requests. If I start to get a significant number I may post a summary here and/or discuss them with other moderation board members.
