Comments: The entire world is going ridiculously Kagi-happy. I'm getting bloody SICK of seeing that little blue iamond with a dollar sign in it every time I download something. It used to be that only people who had WORKED a LONG TIME developing an actual APPLICA ION charged a shareware fee for it. Nowadays, since Kagi came into existence, EVERYONE charges money for EVERYTHING! I am seeing shareware fees charged for every little widget, add-on, plug-in, colour scheme and doodad that anyone makes - even if it took only FIVE MINUTES! People are charging shareware fees for DESKTOP TEXTURES! And now THIS is the ultimate. Charging a shareware fee for a WEB PAGE?! And it's not even a nicely done page! GIVE ME A BREAK! Kagi is turning everyone in the whole Mac world int greedy jerks with little golden dollar signs in their eyes. Whatever happened to doing something just because you ENJOY doing it?! I'm a disabled artist, I don't have the money to be paying shareware fees left and right - and I'm not going to be guilt-t ipped into paying them unless I feel they are deserved, and I can afford it. Most of the time, they're not. Here's a clue: Just because Kagi will handle the business of fees doesn't mean you should automatically charge them for everything you do. You a e missing the whole point of "shareware" - which is a stupid word to begin with because no one's "sharing" anything anymore. It should be called "demo-ware" or "buy-ware". True shareware is SHARED and maybe a donation is politely asked for from people w o can AFFORD it...without this ANNOYING little diamond shaped icon popping up in their faces everywhere they look. Sorry if I'm extremely huffy here but this frustration has been building up for a while.
