When downloading XTrkCad source files using netscape, hold the shift key down while you click on the link to perform a file transfer.
Note: some of the .xtc files are compressed with 'zip'. You will have to unzip them after downloading.

The Cascade Division represents the CPR from Vancouver BC to the Connaught Tunnel
with a few detours to include the Quintette Tunnels along Coquihalla River, the Okanagan Valley,
Glacier Park and the Stoney Creek bridge.
The layout is in N scale and the room size is 11' x 22'.

The Adirondack Line is being built by Malcolm Alberry in the UK and is
in N scale in a room 15' by 15' It is set in the 1940 / 50 transistion
and the cities and town tracks are taken from the original plans
acquired from 3 years historical research.
It combines two main features..the NYC Water Level Route featuring the four track mainline from Herkimer to Utica, with a selective reduction of Utica Yard.
From Utica, the Adirondack line climbs through the lowlands to Remsen and then onwards through the mountains to Big Moose. The branch line from Carter is included to Raquette Lake.
Also, the O&W and DL&W connections are included in Utica.
The plan has interesting characteristics with the rule that all interchanges and connections must return to one of the two staging areas
This is a good example of the use of the ten different levels within
XTrkCad and the inclusion of a helix.
